PRODUCTS

For interpretation purposes RA GEOLOGIA offers GeoCap, a very powerful software solution designed for 3D interpretation, visualization and modeling, created by GeoCap AS, a small group of Norwegian programmers, over the last 5 years. Olav Egeland, the founder of the company, has a long career in software development related to the petroleum industry.

The GeoCap software is very flexible, and meets the day-to-day challenges of a G&G work-environment, often in different ways than other software systems. This is especially due to GeoCap ’s strong visualisation capabilities, in combination with its flexible solutions for tailored scripting/programming. For these reasons, GeoCap  can co-exist and compliment other software systems in an oil company’s software portfolio. In addition to licensing of software, GeoCap is also offered in a project to project rental, possibly together with consultancy services. The software is available for Windows, Unix and Linux systems.

Additionally, we offer, in association with GEOADINPRO LTDA., cost effective software solutions on PC format, to do subsurface interpretation in your company. Among the software solutions offered you can find:

- Neurasection for structural and stratigraphic correlations between well information in raster (images) and digital (las, lis, etc.) formats, fast and easy. This software can work integrated with Landmark and Geoquest existing databases.
